Crazy Tiny Pencil Sculpture by Dalton Ghetti

Usually we use pencil as writing tools or drawing tools. Write a note, draw rough to start designing or create sketches artwork.

But a 49-year old carpenter from Bridgeport (Connecticut), Dalton Ghetti, see a pencil as a canvas. Yes! The tiny tip of a lead pencil become a canvas for him!

Starting as a hobby, he has made about 100 carvings. He uses sewing needle to make holes or dig into the graphite. He scratches and creates lines while turning the graphite around slowly in his hand. Also, he never buys the pencils, his friends are always giving them to him to sculpt or sometimes he uses the ones he finds on the street.

Walking around on the cyber world, i found very cool artists with their super arts. Their arts are absolutely have the abilities to make everyone speechless and amazed just seeing of the pictures.

Well, it’s just a bunch of papers. White papers and color papers. Also some very old books. Nothing special about it, right?

But,, in the hand of these amazing artists, the ‘nothing special’ things turned into a very truly amazing art. It’s called Paper Art.

I was speechless when I scrolling down the pages and see the pictures one by one. The first pictures, i ever saw ’em. But, the more I scrolling the pages down, I couldn’t say a word. Very very amazing. Awesome. Adorable. n INSANE!

How did these people make it? *Bless them, Lord.

I like Jen Stark. The candy colors are so fascinating and it’s in very well-composition.
Jolis Paons dress also beautiful. I wonder how is it gonna be if it’s worn.
Yulia Brodskaya also wonderful! The gradation composition and colors combination are perfectly match and nice.
But, Brian Detmeer’s my fave. Brilliant idea with the old books!

And how about yours? what do u think of these? and which one do u like most?write ur comments bellow.. 😉

And don’t stop here..! Visit the artists’ website (simple click on the artist name, it’s linked to their site).. n U won’t regret it.. Meanwhile, i’m gonna start a simple exercise of papercut. Maybe I was gifted to be a papercraft artist.

They call it ‘DIRTY CAR ART’..

I am really wondering,, do we have an Indonesian artist like him?
Well..,, take a look Scott Wade’s arts.. and please tell me if you know someone in Indonesia with this creativity.. Okay? 😉
